About the Role
Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 3pm-6pm, Fridays from 7:30am-2:30pm, and two school in-service days per month.
We are looking for an in-home caregiver for an 8-year-old girl with left sided hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy. She has some expressive language and articulation speech; sometimes she has difficulty remembering a word or can be difficult to understand sometimes. Last year she had a seizure and there is a protocol to follow for that. She enjoys practicing her reading, dancing, coloring and anything outdoors. She is a very independent person and loves to learn new things. If she needs help she will ask. She sometimes is not great about asking to eat, drink or letting others know she needs a rest. She has a schedule to keep track. She also needs help with two handed activities.
Family would like a DSP that can provide transportation.
