About the Role
Schedule: M, T, W, Th: 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm, M 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm, and will like some help on some Friday's 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm.
About: This client is a 10-year-old girl. The Client likes to go swimming, do crafting and explore the community. DSP needs to help and show emotional support to the client. The mom stated that she has some behaviors and can get verbally loud at times. The family is looking for someone who can provide transportation to appointments, softball & gymnastic practice, and can pick up client from school and take her home or do outside activities when possible.
The family has 1 dog and 3 cats.
Requirements
Daily Requirements:
Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s)
Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes.
Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift.
Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments. Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.
Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
