About the Role
Schedule: Sundays 11:30-7:30pm and M-Th 3-7:30pm.
This client is 20 years old. Her mom is looking for a DSP who can do activities inside their home and out in the community. She needs a DSP who can drive her to community locations/activities. This client needs cues for most ADLs such as eating, washing hands after using the bathroom, and remembering to go to the bathroom. She lacks fine motor skills, so it is important to provide support as needed, such as helping her get her shoes on. She needs additional time to respond to questions and has very delayed responses. She really comes alive around people her age, so her DSP would help her make friends around her age who she can socialize with, as well as assist her in engaging in community events, such as community college classes.
