About the Role
Schedule: Mon-Fri 5:30/6am to around 8am (school drop off transportation needed), Afterschool hours from school 2:30pm-7pm around bedtime. (sibling of 1C0030G)
The client is an 9-year-old boy. He is kind-hearted and loves learning new things. He needs a caregiver that can help him identify and understand feelings and how to handle situations. Tasks include - caring for him in the morning so their dad can make breakfast for everyone, or give him an after-school snack and play with him, dropping off and picking him up from school, maybe going to the park.

Daily Requirements:
Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s)
Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes.
Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift.
Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments. Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.
Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
