About the Role
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 2pm
Client Description: This 29-year-old client wants to be more independent and have support with daily living activities such as cleaning, organizing and cooking. She is looking for a DSP who will empower her to make her own decisions and talk through things with her. The client has mobility challenges and needs supervision and in some cases physical assistance while walking. It is important to her that those around her care and have her best interests in mind. She has 1 dog.
Responsibilities:
Provide transportation for community events (mileage reimbursement available for this client)
Support client in adding structured routines that work for her
Assist client in walking.
Qualifications:
Must have reliable vehicle and auto insurance
Must be comfortable with commuting to her home (use zip-code 97230 for commute reference)
Must have 1+ years of related experience

Requirements
Daily Requirements:
Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s)
Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes.
Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift.
Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments. Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.
Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
