Schedule: Looking for 2-3 days per week, 3-4 hours per day. Between around 12pm-6pm Mon-Fri, but is otherwise flexible on the exact dates and times.
Client is a 70-year-old man. He is looking for supports in the community as well as supports at home. A DSP that can provide transportation is required. The biggest goal he is working on is developing independent living skills such as cleaning and organizational skills. He is currently on a waitlist for a new apartment due to bad mold issues in current apartment and needs assistance cleaning everything before the move to prevent the mold problem from transferring to new apartment. So, things like helping communicate with landlords, setting appointments, and organizing paperwork will be a great help. A DSP that can maintain strong professional boundaries would be a good fit.
Requisitos
Daily Requirements:
Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s)
Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes.
Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift.
Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments. Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.
Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
