About the Role

Schedule: 5:00am-9:00am Mondays and 6:00am-9:00am, Tuesday-Friday. 6:00am - Open, Weekends.

Mom is seeking a DSP for an almost 3-year-old, energetic little boy, who loves going to the park, and enjoys all things sensory from sensory chairs and bubbles. Client enjoys a structured routine at home. She would like a DSP who is able to provide transportation to ABA therapy, which the client attends M-F at 9am. Additionally, the client's mother would like him to be supported in light meal support, positive engagement with chosen activities, basic hygiene and toileting, and dressing.

Requirements

Daily Requirements: 

  • Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s) 

  • Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes. 

  • Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift. 

  • Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments.  Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.  

  • Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
