Client Description: This 13-year-old client likes to test new providers boundaries, so the DSP needs to have patience and engage with her regardless, understanding that she's doing her best each day. She struggles when she is told no/says no back to caregivers, so doing preferred activities with her is common and ideal, but it's also great to help her through hard situations when they come up. Client lives with her dads and sister in outer NW Portland, and the family has one calm dog in the home. She absolutely loves sports, so the DSP would often play sports with her, such as basketball. She also enjoys lots of pretend play, so the DSP should embrace imaginative thinking while playing with her :)
