Schedule: Monday-Friday: 4PM-8:30PM, Saturday: 10AM-5PM (flexible on weekend shift)
Client is a happy and active 14-year-old girl who enjoys beading and caring for her family cat. Clients' family is looking for a bilingual DSP who will provide support with increasing independence around meal preparation, general hygiene, showering, and housework. DSP will also help client recognizing dangers in the community, help her interact with peers her age, and increase social outings by working on social skills, communication and emotional regulation skills. Client will benefit most from a patient and active DSP. Family has an indoor cat.
Requisitos
Daily Requirements:
Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s)
Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes.
Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift.
Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments. Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.
Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
