About the Role

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5pm-8pm

About: This client is an 11 year old girl. The family is seeking for a DSP who is caring, patient and outgoing. The client is a friendly, sweet, and generally independent young girl who thrives with encouragement, structure, and positive guidance. She independently manages many daily living tasks, including showering, personal hygiene, and using the restroom. While she is capable of doing many things on her own, she benefits from gentle reminders, prompts, and support to stay on task and complete daily responsibilities successfully. Our client enjoys spending time in her room and may need encouragement to engage in activities outside of the home. She is not aggressive; however, like many children her age, she can become frustrated and have tantrums when asked to do tasks she does not want to complete. The ideal DSP will remain calm, patient, and supportive while helping her work through these moments and successfully complete expectations. The family is looking for someone who can provide gentle redirection, maintain consistency, and serve as a positive role model while helping her continue to grow her independence and confidence. The family has two dogs.
