Welcome to the FRR Family!
If you are new to services, you may feel that a lot of acronyms and unfamiliar words are thrown around. Here’s a quick overview.

Every individual (called a client) who works with our agency must first be evaluated and approved for K-Plan Services through a case manager with Oregon. The service of Attendant Care allows you to find a caregiver – called a Direct Support Professional, or DSP – to work with you or your child for a certain amount of hours per month to assist with their goals and needs. Your case manager should explain your options to find a DSP to provide this service, which often includes referrals to agencies like ours. Every client and family gets to choose what agency or individual they want to provide services to them or their child.

That’s where we come in! Our agency employs DSPs, including managing trainings, reports, pay, benefits, and more. You can refer someone to us that you already know you want to work as your DSP, or we can help find a brand new DSP for you, or both! We provide services to clients and employees in both English and Spanish. We are not able to assist individuals who require nursing delegation at this time.
I'm interested, what next?
If you want to move forward with our agency, we’d love to have you join our team!
The first step is to reach out to our office at office@familyreliefresources.com, or by calling or texting our HR Manager Katie Apezteguia at 503-344-7731. If you still have any questions, just let us know. We want you to feel fully comfortable and ready to move forward.
Once you’re ready, we will connect you with a Support Manager. Your support manager will be the representative from our agency that will get to know you and your family and help manage your care, including your care team, going forward.
The support manager will schedule a time for a New Client Intake Meeting with you. We love to do these meetings in person whenever possible for a face-to-face connection, but they can also be done over the phone or a video meeting, whatever you prefer. During the intake meeting, the support manager will gather basic information about the client, what needs you have for a new DSP, and more.
