About the Role
Schedule:
Priority: Monday-Friday from 6am-9am
Also: Flexible and open weekend hours
Needs:
Mom is seeking a DSP for an almost 4-year-old, energetic little boy, who loves going to the park, and enjoys all things sensory from sensory chairs to bubbles. Client enjoys a structured routine at home. Family would like client supported in light meal prep and eating, positive engagement with chosen activities, basic hygiene and toileting, and dressing.
Requirements
Daily Requirements:
Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s)
Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes.
Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift.
Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments. Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.
Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
