About the Role
Regular Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 2:30pm-8:30pm.
Additional Summer Hours: 8am-4:30pm (or 2:30pm, depending on day) any weekdays. Preferably 3 days a week. Willing to discuss the schedule on a week by week basis if needed.
He is a joyful, active 11 year old boy. He reads very well and is intelligent. He enjoys the outdoors, dancing, music, learning new skills, and having time to read or play games on his ipad. Has some behavioral issues, and experience in behavior management and/or ABA preferred. Caregiver needs to be able to drive and have current auto insurance. Caregiver needs to be vaccinated.
Requirements
Daily Requirements:
Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s)
Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes.
Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift.
Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments. Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.
Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
