About the Role

Schedule: Very flexible/open, and will change with the clients school schedule each term. All days of the week are open, and overnights are available once a strong relationship is established. Currently she has 100 hours available per month for a DSP to use, but an hours-increase may happen soon for her (not sure how much of an increase yet).

Description: This 27-year-old client needs a kind DSP with consistency, as in, the DSP will show up when they say they will. She can offer mutual flexibility when it comes to scheduling, but overall, her schedule may change term-by-term to accommodate her college classes. The client mainly needs companionship, but also needs some ADL help, such as helping her get shoes on, and helping her keep balance while walking if she gets distracted. She's very independent, has a cat in her home, and needs a DSP to be a team player with her day-to-day life, i.e. help her get outside, raise her spirits, assist around the house, etc. DSP should be okay with allowing her to verbally vent in an unfiltered way. She doesn't take out her anger on DSPs, but she is a verbal processor who is very blunt, and clever/funny!

Requirements:
Must provide transportation to this client. Need reliable vehicle and auto insurance. Mileage reimbursement available!
Must be comfortable traveling to the clients home in Gladstone. Use zip-code 97027 for commute reference.
