About the Role
Schedule: Monday- Friday 9am-3pm flexible with the days and times
About: This is a 14-year-old boy (brother of 1E0019G) who needs support staying on track and engaged throughout the day. He has strong social skills. He is independent and enjoys being active in the community. He lives between his mother's home in West Linn and his father’s home in Tigard. He participates in sports. He needs support with staying engaged and on task throughout the day, community outings and activities, a DSP that can be patient with a good sense of humor.
Transportation is required
Requirements
Daily Requirements:
Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s)
Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes.
Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift.
Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments. Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.
Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
