About the Role

Schedule: Three days a week, 5pm-8pm, and one weekend day, 12pm-7pm.

Client is a 16-year-old young woman who loves to laugh and make jokes. Family describes her as a great kid, who have never been violent, is very easy going and well-behaved. Family would like a DSP who can support the client in creating and strengthening self-help skills such as keeping her areas clean, doing her laundry, light meal preparation, and participating in household chores. Client tends to be a picky eater and a "snacker", so mealtime support that encourages trying new foods, or involves exposure to new foods, and eating fuller meals would be helpful. Family would also like the client to spend more time involved in activities that are of interest to her, either indoor or outdoor. Client enjoys activities such as visiting the library, arts and crafts, board games, and puzzles. Family is open to any three days during the week but would prefer a reliable schedule once the days are chosen.
